The investment objective of the Sub-Fund is to achieve capital growth in the long term by investing mainly in Asian equities and equity related instruments. The Sub-Fund invests mainly in equities or equity related instruments issued by companies listed on Asian exchanges or domiciled in Asia ex Japan. The Sub-Fund’s exposure may also include companies with Chinese exposure listed in other countries such as US or Hong Kong including Chinese A and B shares traded via Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect or Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect. The Sub-Fund may also invest in depository receipts, including American depository receipts (ADRs) and global depository receipts (GDRs), debt securities convertible into common shares, preference shares, warrants and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). The securities may be denominated in local currency or other globally accepted currencies such as USD.
