The Fund’s investment objective is to achieve favourable income and capital returns from a globally diversified portfolio of primarily sovereign emerging market inflation-indexed debt or debt-like securities, and currencies. An associated objective is the preservation and enhancement of principal. The Fund will invest primarily in sovereign inflation-indexed local market debt or debt-like securities of emerging markets that are issued in the local currency of the issuer. An inflation-indexed debt security is one that is structured to provide protection against inflation.
