Branicks Group AG: Continued strong letting business in the first half of fiscal year 2025
Frankfurt am Main, 18 July 2025: Branicks Group AG (“Branicks”), ISIN: DE000A1X3XX4, one of the leading listed property companies in Germany, built on the good start to the year in the letting business in the second quarter and, with 214,700 sqm of letting performance after six months of the 2025 financial year, achieved a significant increase compared to the same period of the previous year (181,000 sqm). The total letting performance for the first half of the year comprises 104,000 sqm of new lettings and 110,700 sqm from the renewal of existing contracts. The largest single letting was a long-term contract with EDUTAIN AG in Cologne Ehrenfeld, Widdersdorfer Str. 301 / Mercedes Allee 1 for 32,500 sqm and 400 car parking spaces. EDUTAIN will open a new, future-oriented experience and learning centre there next year under the name ‘Exploradom’ in the former branch of a premium car manufacturer, thus creating a special attraction in Cologne and beyond. The largest single letting in the logistics asset class was a 10-year contract with the organic food company EgeSun GmbH for 26,699 sqm in Achim, Käthe-Kruse-Strasse 2 in the greater Bremen area. Other major lettings in the logistics sector included the Green-Biz-Park Erding. "Our new and follow-up lettings in the first half of our 2025 financial year once again demonstrate the great consistency and reliability of our operating business. Customer proximity and attractive properties are proving their worth, as is our service and management platform equipped with comprehensive expertise, on which we operate both our own portfolio and properties held for institutional investors across the Group," said Sonja Wärntges, Chairwoman of the Executive Board of Branicks Group AG.
