(RTTNews) - Williams-Sonoma Inc. (WSM) reported earnings for its fourth quarter that increased from the same period last year and beat the Street estimates.

The company's earnings came in at $410.718 million, or $3.28 per share. This compares with $354.439 million, or $2.72 per share, last year.

Excluding items, Williams-Sonoma Inc. reported adjusted earnings of $3.28 per share for the period.

Analysts on average had expected the company to earn $2.94 per share. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company's revenue for the period rose 8.1% to $2.462 billion from $2.278 billion last year.

Looking ahead, the company said: “In fiscal 2025, we expect annual net revenues in the range of -1.5% to +1.5% due to the impact from the 53rd week in fiscal 2024, with comps in the range of flat to +3.0%; and an operating margin between 17.4% to 17.8%, inclusive of the impact of 20bps from the 53rd week in fiscal 2024.”

Over the long term, Williams-Sonoma continues to expect mid-to-high single-digit annual revenue growth with an operating margin in the mid-to-high teens.

WSM was down by 9.55 percent at $155.82 in the pre-market trade on the New York Stock Exchange.
