Assurant, Inc. -- Moody's withdraws Assurant Health's credit ratings for business reasons
New York, August 29, 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service has withdrawn the Ba1 insurance financial strength ratings of Time Insurance Company and John Alden Life Insurance Company. The companies, whose business was placed into runoff in June 2015, constitute the health insurance operations of Assurant, Inc. (AIZ; senior debt at Baa2, stable outlook). No other AIZ ratings were affected by this rating action.
