Comcast Lifts Dividend, To Buy Back $15 Bln Shares
(RTTNews) - Media and technology Comcast Corp. (CMCSK) announced Thursday that it increased its dividend by 6.5% year-over-year, to $1.32 per share on an annualized basis for 2025.
In accordance with the increase, the Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.33 per share on the company's stock, payable April 23, to shareholders of record as of the close of business on April 2.
Further, the Board approved a new share repurchase program authorization, effective as of January 31, of $15 billion, which does not have an expiration date.
The company said it expects to repurchase shares of Class A common stock under the authorization in the open market or private transactions, subject to market and other conditions.
In pre-market activity on the Nasdaq, Comcast shares were trading at $36.78, down 1.55%.
